Young people and healthy eating : a systematic review of research on barriers and facilitators

Young people and healthy eating : a systematic review of research on barriers and facilitators

This systematic review aims to provide a summary of evidence to help develop, implement and evaluate interventions for promoting healthy eating and good nutrition amongst young people aged 11 to 16 years. Produced by the EPPI-Centre, the Evidence of Policy and Practice Information and Co-ordinating Centre which is part of the Social Science Research unit based at the Institute of Education, University of London, the report focuses on young people from socially excluded groups at greatest risk for poor nutrition and on interventions targeting structural or environmental barriers to healthy eating and was published in 2001.
